My Approach
Welcome! My focus is on providing professional, holistic therapy to help individuals address their mind, body and spirit. I specialize in trauma therapy utilizing a integrated practice, many times incorporating EMDR, somatic therapy, and mindfulness to help clients heal and learn how to cope with their mental health challenges. I also assist clients with psychedelic-assisted therapy when interested and appropriate.
My mission is to provide a safe space for my clients to explore their experiences and heal from the ones that have caused trauma. I offer my clients support and guidance through the healing process and assist them in moving towards leading fulfilling lives. I strive to create a unique experience for each client after identifying where they can use healing in their mind, body, and spirit. I provide a warm and welcoming environment for both adolescents and adults.
My office is located in Encinitas, CA and I offer in-person therapy services to support individuals in the local area. Additionally I provide virtual therapy for any clients in the state of California.

Holistic Trauma Therapy
Holistic trauma therapy focuses on treating the whole person, rather than just the symptoms of trauma. This approach takes into account the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person's life, and aims to promote healing and growth in all areas. By addressing the root causes of trauma and providing a safe and supportive environment, holistic trauma therapy can help individuals overcome their past experiences and move forward with a renewed sense of hope and resilience.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a evidence based type of psychotherapy that is used to treat PTSD, trauma and other mental health conditions. It involves a series of eye movements, sounds, or taps that help the brain reprocess traumatic memories and emotions. EMDR therapy has been shown to be effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. EMDR helps to remove negative beliefs that have been internalized and replace those beliefs with positive cognitions that help to empower individuals participating in this type of therapy.
Somatic mental health therapy connects the mind and body to healing and well-being. This approach recognizes that physical sensations and emotions are intertwined, helping individuals gain insights into their mental health. By using mindfulness, breath work, and movement, somatic therapy releases tension and trauma, fostering empowerment and resilience. It encourages awareness of bodily experiences, leading to improved emotional regulation and overall mental health.
Psychedelic assisted therapy is an emerging field that utilizes psychedelic substances, such as ketamine, to help adult individuals overcome mental health challenges. This approach involves the use of these substances in a controlled, supervised and supportive environment, under the guidance of a licensed therapist together with a trained healthcare professional, to facilitate a state of heightened awareness and introspection. Psychedelic assisted therapy has demonstrated significant potential in treating conditions such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
